How Automatic Bundle Detection Works

With Automatically detect the bundle in cart, customers get the bundle price even when they add the products to the cart one by one: from product pages, collection pages or Quick add buttons, without the bundle page.

How to turn it on

1. In Bundly, open the bundle.
2. In the Settings section, check Automatically detect the bundle in cart.
3. Save the bundle.

Turn it on for each bundle that you want detected in the cart.

How it works

When the cart has all the products a bundle needs, in the right quantities, Bundly combines them into the bundle at the bundle price. Products that the bundle doesn't need stay in the cart at their regular price.

If the cart has enough products for the bundle more than once, the customer gets it more than once. For example, with "Any 2 T-shirts for €79":

• 2 T-shirts: 1 bundle.
• 3 T-shirts: 1 bundle, and 1 T-shirt at its regular price.
• 4 T-shirts: 2 bundles.

Products added from the bundle page always go into that bundle. Automatic detection only looks at products added in other places.

When more than one bundle matches

If the cart matches more than one bundle with automatic detection, Bundly picks:

1. The bundle with more components.
2. Then the bundle with the higher quantity.
3. Then the newest bundle.

Bundly doesn't compare prices, so the customer doesn't always get the cheapest bundle. To keep the result predictable, put each product in only one bundle with automatic detection. When you duplicate a bundle, the copy keeps this setting, so turn it off on one of them.
